What is a Europass CV — and when do you need one?

Europass is the standardized CV format backed by the European Union, widely expected for applications to EU institutions, public-sector roles, internships, scholarships (including Erasmus+), and many employers across Europe. Its strength is uniformity: a recognizable structure for personal details, work experience, education, language proficiency, and skills.

Its weakness is the tooling — the official editors are form-heavy and slow.
