The Indian CGPA is the cumulative grade point average used by CBSE and most Indian universities, reported on a 10-point scale. Under the common CBSE convention an approximate percentage is the CGPA multiplied by 9.5, though individual boards and universities publish their own tables. A 6.0 is usually the pass mark, 7.5 and above is a first class, and 8.5+ is an excellent record.
Turkish universities usually report two numbers: a 100-point course average and a 4.0 GPA converted from it. A 60 is a common pass mark, and marks of 85 and above (AA) are excellent. Each university publishes its own conversion table, so the 100-to-4.0 mapping can differ slightly between institutions.
