ATS-Friendly Resume Templates, Extraction-Tested | Prezumi

ATS-friendly resume templates that prove it: every Prezumi design is extraction-tested so parsers read your PDF in the right order. Pick one free and tailor it.

Every template here is tested the way an ATS reads it: we extract the text from the exported PDF and check that it comes out complete and in the right order. Choose for the design — the parsing is already handled.

What actually makes a template ATS-friendly

Four properties decide whether a parser files you correctly. Everything else — color, typeface taste, whitespace — is for the human on the other side.

How we test these templates

Every theme in this gallery runs through the same automated check before it ships: we export the PDF, extract the text the way parsers do, and verify order and integrity. You can run the same test on any resume with the free ATS checker.

ATS-friendly doesn't mean ugly

The standard advice ends in a gray 1995 Word document, and that trade-off is unnecessary: parsers don't care whether your accent color is indigo or invisible, only whether the text extracts in order. Plain is there if you want the bare minimum, while Minimal, Ivory, and Onyx give you something more polished that parses just as cleanly.

If one of these designs looks too polished to be safe, that's the point: the decorative elements are kept separate from the text, so a parser never trips over them and just reads the words in order.

ATS templates, answered

How do you know these templates pass ATS parsing?

Because we actually run the extraction. Each template's exported PDF goes through the same text-extraction step parsers use, and the result is checked for order, completeness, and glued-word artifacts. Templates that fail don't ship.

Do I need a special “ATS template”, or is that marketing?

Partly marketing — across the industry, “ATS template” often just means “simple”. What's real: parsing failures from text rendered as images, scrambled column order, and fonts that export shapes. Any template that avoids those passes; all of these do, and the plainest ones also signal conservative taste where that helps.

Are the templates free?

Building a resume and downloading the PDF is free, with no hidden paywall at the end. The free plan includes a curated set of designs; paid plans open the full library and add more projects, permanent share links, and a larger AI allowance.

How do I know if my current resume parses?

Upload it to the free ATS checker. It runs the real extraction and scores reading order, sections, contact details, and wording — then tells you exactly what to fix. No signup.
